I have been a customer, almost twenty years, since 2002, and I have never had reason to complain about Mills Air.
After I purchased my home, in 2002, I had a new Trane A/C installed with a ten-year warranty. Well, as with all things mechanical the Trane system needed to be replaced this year.
The technician, Travis Passmore, suggested I speak with Steve Willis. After doing just that I decided to have a new Carrier system installed on April 1, 2021.
I am writing to thank all the people involved:

“I heard my friend Russ Rollins on Real Radio 104.1 FM recommended Mills Air on air. I know Russ doesn’t endorse businesses on air unless he’s truly had a good experience with said company. I scheduled an appointment Thursday May 14th around 10 am, and Dan was at my house Friday morning the 15th at 8am. It was kind of surreal because Carlos Navarro(Real Radio) was bragging about how impressed he was with Mills Air around the same time that Dan was at my home. I was not able to be there but my wife was, and said Dan was courtesy, and professional. We had scheduled a preventative maintenance checkup and Dan informed my wife exactly what he was going to do and would let her know if he found anything that might need attention. Dan then informed her that he would start outside and when he needed to come inside he would be wearing a mask, shoe booties, and gloves to perform his work indoors. Dan had also called me at 7:45 to let me know he would be arriving at my home at 8am. I told him I wasn’t there but to please call me if there were any issues. Dan followed up with me and said everything looked good. I later called Mills Air to let them know that my wife and I were impressed with Dan’s professionalism and good nature. It was Mike that I spoke with and he thanked me for letting him know and that Dan gets frequent calls about the jobs he does well. I’ve honestly only taken the time to write a review like this 1 other time in my life. Thank you Mike, and thank you Dan, for doing a job well done. I will go nowhere else but Mills Air in the future for my AC.”

During the process Sean encountered a problem and immediately looked for the solution until it was fixed. “Every once in awhile people slip through the cracks. Unfortunately for both Mills Air & I that’s what happened to them. I won’t go into the details, but one of their techs showed up late, was very unprofessional and ended up doing more damage than good to my system. It turned out to be quite a costly error but Mills stepped up and took care of the problem very promptly and efficiently. Manager Mike was the ultimate professional and it was one of the best customer service interactions I have ever experienced. They sent their lead tech out the same day that I called and he quickly identified the problem and fixed it. Sadly, the fix came too late and the damage was already done. This was going to result in a significant cost to either me or Mills Air. Mills stepped up and gave us a very fair reimbursement check and relieved us of a significant financial burden right before Christmas. I don’t leave reviews as a rule, but due to the nature and severity of this issue I knew that I would be leaving one either way, good or bad. It is very important in my eyes, that companies still put the customer first and stand behind their product. I am very pleased to say that Mills went above and beyond and will have our business for years to come. As a side note, I am also pleased to say that between the time of the original Tech coming out and screwing everything up and the time that we recognized it, he had been identified as a bad egg and was no longer with the company.”
